Dr. Jesus F. Jara, a nationally recognized education leader, is the former Superintendent of the Clark County School District in Nevada – the fifth largest in the United States – and the current Global K–12 Practice Leader at Prometric, Operating Partner for Vistria, as well as a Board Advisor for Edmentum, Soliant, and MGT. His leadership has catalyzed academic gains, operational efficiencies, and equity-centered reforms across urban, suburban, and rural communities.

With a career that spans from the classroom to the Capitol, Dr. Jara has built trusted relationships with state leaders, superintendents, prime ministers of education, and education stakeholders around the world. Through J. Jara Associates, he is now empowering districts, organizations, and governments to scale what works … and disrupt what doesn’t.
